P.S. Hopefully, there can be some bonfires in your future too when you come to visit. We are hoping to install a fire pit soon.

With cooler temperatures expected, some may want to use their small space heaters. If so, DO NOT plug them into a power strip. These devices are not designed to handle the energy load of a space heater and can overheat causing a fire hazard. ⚠️🔥

We are closed for the time being and we are SO sorry to those guests we had to cancel reservations for. It’s just NOT something we do but it’s also not something we could help.

Parts of Greeneville and Greene County are getting water back but we don’t have it yet. It will come soon but in the meantime we’ve told a TVA crew from out of town they could stay here while they needed. They don’t have water either but were going to have to sleep in the truck. Thankfully we were able to offer them at least a bed.

We so appreciate them and all who have worked tirelessly to restore power, cell service, water and some sense of normalcy to our area.

I will reopen the calendar once we know what the next few weeks will look like. Thank you for the outpouring of love and support for our community. Please keep Appalachia in your prayers. 🙏
