You may think it`s all beaches and airplanes but so much goes on behind the scenes of my travel business that you don’t get to see. You know, the less exciting stuff like researching and paperwork, booking hotels, and flights.

Nothing gets me through those days where I’m pining for a relaxing day at the beach, a morning espresso and people-watching on the piazza quite like a little afternoon dance party all day as I work. But I could always use a few more suggestions — how do you jazz up the work day and make things more fun?

Can I teleport you to Bali for a minute?

I have clients headed there next year, and as I put together their itinerary, I couldn’t help but share it with you.

Here is what I put together for them:

They’ll be staying at The Anvaya Beach Resort. We settled on this property for them because its relaxing.

They like trips that are laid back and full of culture and history, so I’ve worked in visits to Kintamani with sacred monkey forest and Swing while they are there.

This is just one example of an itinerary for Bali. There’s so much more to see and do there!

🏨 Big hotel chain or boutique hotel?
I would choose boutique hotel because they are willing to do more for their guests.

✈️ Hotel room upgrade or seat upgrade?
I would choose seat upgrade because them standard seats aint cutting it.

🍹All-inclusive resort or cruise?
Now this one wasn't hard I would choose Cruise because I can just go on a all-inclusive cruise.

How to make the most of Google Maps when you travel 🔎

➡️ Save Offline Maps: Before you go, download maps for your destination by tapping the location, choosing "Download," and voilà! Now you can navigate without internet.

➡️ Explore with Street View: Here`s a cool trick! Drop the adorable yellow peg man on the map and virtually stroll through the streets. It`s like being there already. Do this around your hotel to get familiar with nearby places.

➡️ Discover Nearby Places: This is one of my favorites! Use the "Explore" feature to find attractions, restaurants, bars, parks, you name it, all in your vicinity. It`s like having a local guide right in your pocket!
