We've been off to a slow start this year with more challenges than ever getting prices from our providers. That being said, all of our dates are set for 2025. Even without final prices, we are letting travelers hold a spot for the usual deposit amounts, $100 for an overnight trip and $50 for a day trip. Once final prices and details are released, should you wish to cancel, we will provide a full deposit refund. Deposits are nonrefundable once we are within a 60 day window of the trip departure. As always we will keep prices as low as possible. Redstone does not make profit on the trips but we do build in a modest donation to our charitable care programs as part of the cost of the trip.

We are expecting a lot of interest in the Western Adventure based on the number of info requests we have had. Spaces for this will be limited to 28 passengers, so don't let this one pass you by. All are welcome to join us on our trips, but most of our travelers, like our Redstone communities, are age 55 and better.

We did have to make one change to our tentative schedule, and that was the Cape Cod trip. We wanted to go in May but there just were not any busses available, so we had to push back until June. We realize this puts our Lancaster & Cape Cod trips close together, but there wasn't anything we could do about that. We hope some of you will want to do both, and that there is enough interest in each trip independently that we can fill both opportunities.

Will you be our Galentine? "Galentine's Day" is a relatively new trend for women to celebrate the women friends in our lives. This occasion can be especially meaningful for those who are widowed or don't have a traditional, "Valentine." For the second year, Redstone is sponsoring a wonderful Galentine's Day outing and party for women of all ages. Last year's participants had a wonderful time together!
We will depart the Redstone North Huntingdon campus clubhouse at 1:30 pm on Thursday, February 13th and make our way to the Point Breeze section of the city of Pittsburgh where we will visit the Frick Mansion and Museum. Following our visit we will make our way to the Edgewood Country Club for a delightful dinner.
Each guest is asked to bring a "white elephant gift" of less than a $10 value. Candles, home decor items, soaps, books, etc. are all great choices. The gift exchange will help us to celebrate a special Galentine's evening before our return to Redstone.

Enjoying such a nice little getaway enjoying all things Christmas in Cambridge, Ohio! Today we visited the Dickens Village, the Cambridge Glass Museum, enjoyed a holiday dinner at Theo's Restaurant, and ended the day with the courthouse light show. Amazing! Tomorrow it's on to Millersburg and Walnut Creek before heading home.

Sadly, one of our favorite traveling pairs is going to have to release their spot for our Winter Getaway trip. Before we release their cabin to general inventory, we wanted to give our Redstone travelers an opportunity to pick up the spot. This trip is now sold out, so the only opportunity to join us will be through a cancellation like this. The price has actually come down on this trip, and the full package will be less than $1800 per person. This will be an 8 night trip that includes motorcoach, driver gratuities, one night hotel in Columbia SC while southbound, two nights hotel in St. Augustine, Florida, a tour of St. Augustine, a group dinner in St. Augustine, an entire free day in St. Augustine with shuttle service, a 4 night cruise on Celebrity Cruiselines Sihlouette in a balcony cabin with a full beverage package, wifi, gratuities, etc., a final hotel night as we travel north stopping in Columbia, SC, and a trip insurance policy to cover the trip if needs arise. Do you need a little Christmas spirit? How about a fun overnight getaway to enjoy all things Christmas?

Redstone Goes is sponsoring a Christmas getaway on December 10 - 11. We will depart the Clubhouse on the North Huntingdon campus at 7 am on Tuesday, December 10, headed for Cambridge, Ohio. A step-on guide will join us for our tour of the Dickens Village. Experience old world England as Cambridge is charmingly transformed into a Dickens Victorian Village each holiday season. Visitors are invited to stroll amidst over 92 scenes of 180 lifelike figures representing classic scenes from the Victorian era.

After our tour of the village, we will make our way to the Cambridge Glass Museum where costumed guides will tell us about “Christmas at the Cambridge Glasshouse”. Our next stop will be a delicious holiday buffet dinner at Theo’s Restaurant before we return to the Courthouse for the holiday light spectacular. We’ll overnight at the Best Western Hotel in Cambridge, where we will also enjoy breakfast on Wednesday morning.

After breakfast we will make our way to the Victorian House Museum in Holmes County, Ohio. This incredible 28 room Queen Anne style home will be decorated inside and out for the holidays and we will enjoy a private tour. (Please note that there will be stairs to visit the whole house but you are welcome to remain on the first floor.) After our tour we will make our way to the Walnut Creek Marketplace where you will enjoy lunch on your own in the café (don’t skip the pie!) and have some shopping time to load up on gifts and goodies before we head home. We will arrive back to Redstone around 6:00 pm.

When planning this Redstone trip we chose to see Suffs, a relatively new musical on Broadway about the Suffragist movement. We chose it because Shaina Taub, who created the show AND stars in it, is sister-in-law to one of our VP's at Redstone, Geoff Gehring. Can we just say it was INCREDIBLE??!! Sadly the show is closing on Broadway but will the tour. If it comes to Pittsburgh we will definitely do a group block. Keep marching!
