Greg Harrell is our entertainer for this year!

I started my rodeo career in the late 80's fighting bulls for JC Rodeo Company. I fought bulls in your old arena during that that time frame. I stopped fighting bulls as my age was catching up to me. In 2018 i was adked to come back and do some entertaining. I did 4 rodeos that year. This year I have 19 and have been asked for the second time to work the KPRA finals in Dodge City. Thanks to the Medicine River Rodeo Co, I have had oppurtinities to get some different rodeos. They are a great family to work for. I am excited to be back in Greensburg!

Our announcer is no stranger!

Troy Goodridge, an Iowa native, started his love for the sport of rodeo early on competing in steer riding which advanced on to riding bulls from junior rodeos, high school, college rodeos and on to the PRCA where he qualified for the RAM Great Lakes Circuit Finals in Louisville, Kentucky and the Worlds Toughest Bulls and Broncs Series Finals in Madison, Wisconsin.
After a series of injuries riding bulls Troy was looking for a way to stay involved in the sport and in 2003 he was offered the opportunity to announce a small rodeo in Missouri and the rest is history. Since that weekend Troy has announced rodeos and bull ridings in 12 different states from Chicago, IL. to Deridder, Louisiana and almost everywhere in between. Troy has also has been blessed with the opportunity to have been invited to announce at over 20 different finals on the open level.
Troy loves every aspect of the sport of rodeo and the cowboy way of life. But in particularly he really likes great horses and watching great bucking bulls which keeps Troy busy watching and studying for young prospects hoping to find the next world champion bucking bull.
Troy also is very active in real estate as a agent in Kansas.
Troy has been a PRCA announcer since 2009 and now lives in Redfield, Ks. with his wife Katrina and their two children Keely and Cade.
We hope you enjoy the rodeo and are very thankful to have the opportunity to spend this time with you all and thank you, for allowing us provide you a small glimpse of our world of Rodeo. professional rodeo.

Our final is local Luke Ballard. I was born and raised in Haviland, KS. where I still live today. I love to fight bulls, bowhunting, and working out. I started bullfighting 2 years ago and have loved it ever since. In 2023, I went on to be the Bullfighters Only World Champion, Skipper Voss Rookie of the Year and the BFO Resorts World Champion. I love giving back to my community and to the rodeo industry. I thank God for all the opportunities he has blessed me with and give all the glory to him.

Our next bullfighter is Klee Jones

My Name is Kenneth Lee Jones Jr but my mom shortened it to KLee pronounced Kaylee. I started riding bulls at 9 years old. I won titles in the KPRA and CePRA. I made it to the CBR world finals. After a life threatening injury from riding bulls i made the transition to rodeo protection. I have been doing this since about 2014. Medicine River Rodeo hired me about 5 years ago and I have been with them since. I have been voted by the bullfighters to fight the last two KPRA finals. I have contemplated retiring for the last couple of years, but i cant bring myself to give it up. Rodeo has brought many friends into my life, and for that it will always be the best sport there is.

Our First Bullfighter to introduce is Trevor Grasser
Trevor Grew up in Cimarron, Kansas on his family farm and ranch. He always wanted to be involved in a rough stock event and found bull fiighting through Tyler Dye who used to be a medicine RIver ROdeo BUllfighter. He helped me get a start with Mike and the rest of the crew and has been with them for 6 years.

Our Second Princess Contestant is Lexi Clifton lives on her families farm outside of Larned, Kansas. She’s 11 years old and in the 6th grade.
Lexi is active in archery, loves to hunt, and aspires to be a barrel racer.
She helps her mom with their small dairy, raises chickens to sell, and also has a small herd of meat goats along with her sister.

Here is our First Princess Contestant!

Delanie Clifton lives on a farm with her family outside of Larned Kansas. Shes 10 years old and in the 5th grade.
She loves helping her mom with their small dairy, and raises chickens to sell along with her sister. She also is active in archery and loves hunting.
Lanie is currently practicing to be a breakaway roper!

Our only queen contestant this year is

MacKenzie Swan currently attends Dodge City Community College where she is on the rodeo team and is heavily involved in ag tech program. She is involved with the Ford County Fair Association, Young Guns Rodeo, NWOJR Rodeo and the FFA alumni program.
In the fall she plans to be a member of the Alpha Clovia sorority chapter, the Kansas Ag Educators Association, and the K State Rodeo Team.
MacKenzie's hobbies include welding, training horses, working out and in her free time she enjoys sightseeing! Her future plans include teaching Agriculture to high school and middle school students, as well as running her own FFA chapter, and helping with community Rodeo clubs, and give back to the rodeo community.

We still have some spots for Friday and Saturday night for Greensburg Rodeo Mutton Bustin' We will not accept any participants past Thursday (5/16) 6:00 pm.
We are allowing ages 4-7 with the weight limit of 60lbs to ride this year.
Waver must signed BEFORE performance at Kiowa County Pharmacy throughout the week or at concession stand the night of.
