Established in 1972, Candy Cane Lane has welcomed generations of visitors to share in the holiday spirit. A quarter-mile of lighted candy canes welcomes visitors as they drive through the homestead to view animated, handmade, vintage holiday decorations. Christmas music, a 35-foot candle, and thousands of lights are just a few of the experiences that await you. And, if you are lucky, Santa Claus even stops by occasionally to hand out candy canes.

Just a few days left to see the Candy Cane Lane display at the Museum before the displays have to be put up for opening day of Candy Cane Lane! If you’re out and about, stop in and read through some of the history, watch the video, and get a close up look of a few of the displays!

Sorry folks! Had a brief technical issue! Lights went dark for about 10 minutes. Something to do with rain, puddles and electrical cords I’m sure! For anyone who was in the drive during the blackout, lights are up and going again!

Sorry we’ve been kind of quiet! Something about this year just has us all running behind and sometimes on empty! But if you need to recharge your Christmas Spirit, we know just the place! Set your car radio to some merry Christmas music and drive through Candy Cane Lane til your bells are jingling! Weather is beautiful and so are the lights! Open 6-9 PM tonight through December 26!
