I have been organizing and escorting tours all over the country for the last 27 years, specializing in group road trips for the Packers, Badgers and Brewers. I have attended games at 27 NFL and 8 Big Ten Stadiums, as well as 12 MLB parks. On the verge of tomorrow’s 150th Kentucky Derby 🐎 it brought back some great memories of a couple of group trips to Churchill Downs.
Unfortunately one of the years we attended was 2018 when a record rainfall of 3.15 inches fell.
Having experienced 5 Derby’s there is no comparison between a wet & dry track on the greatest people watching event of the year.
Let’s hope for a dry track during this years

I am Mike Wheeler, owner and operator of Wheels Travel Tours. I have been organizing and escorting tours all over the country & world since 1995. Travel is more than just a ticket to a destination, its a gateway to a lifetime of memories. That’s why I take to heart my role in creating unforgettable vacations.

I have specialized in group road trips for the Packers, Badgers and Brewers. I have attended games at 27 NFL and 8 Big Ten Stadiums, as well as 15 MLB parks. I use that knowledge to help create a fun, relaxed stress free experience for when you hit the road to support your favorite team.

Over the past several years, I have expanded group tours to include: Punta Cana, Jamaica, Mexico plus Alaska - and a trip to Europe for a Rhine River Cruise. 2021 will be a very busy year with trips scheduled for: Italty - Croatia - Greece in April, Ireland/Scotland in May, Alaska Land & Cruise in July & a Hawaiian Island Cruise in October. In addition to our own group tours, I am a licensed travel agent who is able to assist you with all of your booking needs, including your all -inclusive or cruise vacations. With dozens of trips to Mexico & the Caribbean, plus Alaska & Europe, I can put my experience to good use in helping you select the trip that is right for you & your family or group !!
