Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure is always a good time! I was recently able to spend a full day with my sister and 3 favorite nieces at the parks. We got to spend quality time in Hogsmeade and Diagon Alley (my favorite fictional places!). We were also able to experience the ✨NEW✨ Dreamworks Land and Minion Cafe PLUS the Villain Con Challenge.

ONE DAY- TWO PARKS, here is all we did:
✔️Hagrid’s Motorbike (I was finally able to drive the bike!)
✔️Harry Potter and the Forbidden forest inside Hogwarts (the first time I have ever been able to keep my eyes open…)
✔️Hippogriff
✔️Kong
✔️Train from Hogsmeade to Kings Cross
✔️Jimmy Fallon Race through NY
✔️Lunch at Minion Cafe
✔️Villain Con
✔️Gringott’s Bank
✔️Fast and the Furious
✔️ET
✔️Animal Actors
✔️Po’s Kung Fu Training Camp
✔️Dinner at Leaky Cauldron and a little shopping in Diagon Alley
✔️Train from DA back to Hogsmeade
✔️Half did Velocicoaster and Hulk, other half did Dr Suess and Spider-Man

It was a AWESOME day!

Whew! What a whirlwind trip to Disney! I was only able to spend a few hours in Magic Kingdom and EPCOT. I utilized Genie+ and Individual Lightning Lanes to get everything in that I wanted to do.

Did you hear the news that Genie+ is changing? Beginning at the end of July you will be able to preselect rides before the day of your visit. This is great news for the people who like to plan ahead! I like that we will be able to plan our ride experiences around dining reservations again! I will be ready to help for all future trips I book for my clients!

Also EPCOT has their new buildings ready after having construction walls up for a few years. I tried out the new character greeting building 😁

Bonus Disney Cruise post!
I have a few clients that are still sailing on Disney’s original 4 ships- the Magic, Wonder, Dream and Fantasy. Those are all great too!
The Magic has longer cruises that sail to the NEW Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point!
The Wonder sails to Alaska and the Dream and Fantasy sail Europe itineraries 😍

We sailed on the Dream to the Bahamas in 2018, here are a few pictures and extra info about what happens on many Disney sailings. The Disney cruise experience is truly immersive and a great vacation for the whole family!

The Rooms on the Disney Wish —>
This ship has less inside rooms than previous ships. More Disney cruisers choose Veranda staterooms than other cruise lines. It also has more concierge level rooms. They have expanded the space and offerings for this service on the WISH because of the demand on previous ships..

Entertainment on board the Disney WISH
As usual, this ship has Broadway caliber shows each night as well as a theater showing Disney movies. If there is a new Disney movie in the theater, they will premiere it and show it on the ship! This ship actually has two Movie theaters and the main Theater for the nightly shows has even more capability than previous ships. Get ready for fabulous entertainment!

QUICK dining on the ship:
On most cruise ships you have the table service/sit down service meals, or you have the option of the buffet or grab and go type places.
Disney has taken it up a notch with a food hall type area on the pool deck, behind the stage and screen. There are some great options!
I had a fun opportunity to try out the buffet!

Let me present, Disney WISH! ✨🚢

I was recently able to do a ship tour, and my next few posts will be all about this enchanting ship.

This tour made me want to sail away- “where fantastical worlds and beloved stories from Disney, Marvel, Star Wars and Pixar are brought to life like never before.”

Y’all, if you love Disney, no matter your age, a Disney cruise is absolutely worth it.

Dining plans have returned! And along with them, promotions for free dining! The deal mentioned in the last photo is for Disney Visa card members. The first two photos are snacks I tried recently- both count for a snack credit on the dining plan and Oh Boy were they delicious!! 🤤 Bonus points if you know what they are! Have you tried these?

What do you do when the monorail is down and you want to get to Epcot?

1- take the ferry to the TTC and hope it is open once you get there to take you on to Epcot, or if not, walk to the Polynesian bus stop and take a bus.

2- go to the bus stop in front of MK and catch a bus to one of the neighboring Epcot hotels.

Which option do you think I chose? Which would you choose?

Did you know?

Allegiant now has direct flights from Asheville to MCO? Super convenient! They have had flights to Sanford for a while, but they just added the direct flight to Orlando! Direct to the Magic! ✨

(There is also a direct flight from Asheville to Denver which we are utilizing later in the month!)

Did I mention that I love planning Disney trips? I also love going to the parks myself!! I have the opportunity to pop into the parks this week! Come along with me!
The past two visits I have found great spots to watch Fireworks OUTSIDE of the parks! Do you know where this one is below?
This trip I hope to experience another nighttime show - stay tuned!
