TODAY!
Mill Village Farms (MVF) is growing food and growing jobs in Greenville! Many of our communities have been labeled food deserts.
(29)
Our vision is to redevelop vacant properties in Greenville's historic mill communities into bountiful gardens that grow food for the surrounding community while also providing employment opportunities for neighborhood youth. This essentially means our residents have a wide access ramp to heavily processed foods and a limited, often expensive, path to fresh, locally-grown produce. We, at MVF, are w
orking to combat this situation. Concurrently, our mission is also to provide youth employment opportunities. We at MVF are providing youth, aged 14-18, with a first-time job experience in sustainable agriculture, entrepreneurship, and basic job skills. Come join with us, we are always looking for financial and volunteer support! Check our our website, MillVillageFarms.org!
