We are finalizing our last trip for this season. Watch this space for next years list of trips and any changes for the coming season. Thank you to everyone that has stuck it out with us over the last year and a half, as we struggled to maintain a small business during COVID-19.

I sure hope these interesting animals are available during our Biltmore at Christmas and Blue Ridge Montain Tour! Wouldn’t that be fun!!!

🔶It’s Safety Saturday!🔶

Seeing wildlife along the parkway is an exciting experience. The Blue Ridge Mountains host a variety of animals, from enormous elk to slippery salamanders, a natural and often untouched habitat to call home. Many of these animals are good at hiding along our road, and they can decide to cross at any time. As we head into spring, wildlife is increasingly active on the parkway. You never know what is around the next bend.

When driving on the parkway, stay aware that animals may be active in the area, even when you do not see them. Follow the speed limits and keep an eye on the road, shoulders, and pullouts. The number of motor vehicle crashes in national parks involving wildlife are twice the national average. We can all help lower that number by driving with attentiveness and care. Next time you visit the parkway, watch for wildlife and watch the road. The animals will thank you!
