UPDATE: Thank you everyone for your help! We've had an outpouring of generosity and have been able to secure the needed desks! The school room exhibit is now almost complete and will be ready for viewing on Wednesday, June 26th! We hope you can stop by sometime this season and see it for yourself. Have a great day!

Exciting news!☺️☺️

reached out to us to find out where funds were needed within the community so they could donate some of the proceeds from their fashion show & cocktail party event as needed!

In addition to Purpleville & , their fashion show & cocktail party fundraiser will be donating funds to the preschool/daycare that will be going up here in Greenville! 👏🏻
The nonprofit, Moosehead Caring for Kids Foundation, here in town, was started January 2022 as a fundraising arm to support quality, sustainable childcare in Greenville. In their quest to find a more suitable location for childcare other than the "snowmobile club" on Scammon Rd., organizers of the foundation worked collaboratively with the town manager & school superintendent to get a plan in motion to build a new building on school grounds! This building will house 2 pre-school classrooms, & a childcare center for up to 70 children,as well as a recreation center for the town! 🙌🏻
As you can imagine this project is going to require a lot of movingparts! We all look forward to helping! 👊🏻💥

There are snow drifts on the lake, they are very hard and not very visible. There are also slushy spots that freeze up overnight causing uneven surfaces. Please use caution when traveling on the lake.
