It's wintertime on Moosehead Lake right now! Brrrrr,,,,, I hear it's cold. I'm not wishing winter away for anyone! I am just a little excited for the start of our new fishing season on open water. It won't be long now. This last year we had some beautiful landlocked salmon, lake trout, and brook trout. It was a fantastic year on Moosehead and we are expecting the same again this year. Today, we enjoyed an unconventional Christmas dinner, courtesy of last night's successful fishing trip, which yielded three red drum. Amber prepared fish tacos using her Pampered Chef air fryer, a kitchen appliance we utilize frequently enough to have two, one in Maine and another here. She created a custom recipe, which she can share if you express interest.

Our summers on Moosehead are truly unforgettable, and we're grateful to share our enthusiasm with guests every day. Witnessing others make memories that will last a lifetime is a true privilege. Now that winter has set in in Maine, we're seizing the chance to make some memories of our own in Gulf Shores, Alabama. So if you see us posting pictures of the beach and our escapades, no worries, Before long, we'll be back in Maine, ready to start our 2025 season.
