Driving home I made a pit stop at the newest addition to the Legacy Museum in Montgomery, AL, Freedom Monument & Sculpture Park! No photos are allowed inside the park, so I am only able to post some from the entrance & information center. This is a MUST SEE while in the area! The 11.00 entrance fee gains you access to not only this location, but also The National Memorial for Peace & Justice, as well as The Legacy Museum! I was only able to visit the Sculpture Park this trip which just opened earlier this year. They are in process of adding seven more acres & dozens of new art & sculpture this coming June! Enjoy!

Dropped in at Crystal River Springs to try to see manatees. Great public launch spot made me feel like a pro! No struggling with my balancing skills like indiana lol. Didn’t get a picture, but did see one beautiful & huge manatee! I floated right over him/her & it was bigger than my kayak! Made my heart flutter with happiness! Very lovely spot to kayak, so glad I added it today!

Beautiful day to kayak! Saw loads of turtles sunbathing, a doe grabbing a drink from the crystal clear waters, cranes & an alligator! Missed a female manatee (cow), but other paddlers excitedly told me about her! Stunning location to visit!
