Good Day! If you are seeking a quotation on having your piano tuned, please feel free to call me at your convenience. My phone number is prominently displayed on this page, and is 864-992-4854. If I'm unable to immediately answer the phone, please leave a clear message, and I'll gladly call you back. There are many questions that I wish to ask, and actually talk to you about the care and health of your instrument.... FB Messenger is good for a lot of things, except in-depth conversation... Asking a simple question, and expecting a simple answer from a piano tuner, is like: calling a doctor's office and saying "I don't feel well" or "my leg hurts" ... and then asking how much ? 😌 ... or calling an auto mechanic and saying " my car runs rough" or "my car won't start" and then asking how much ? 🙂 . I'll gladly, after asking a series of pertinent questions (because I care), offer a phone quotation, that possibly will change when I actually: "get my head under the hood", or when I can "can see the patient in person" . To those piano owners that I have already seen, please remember that once-yearly tunings (at minimum)... (more-frequent tunings can often be required depending upon use, location, etc.)... are very important to the health and longevity of the instrument. Thank you very much !!!

Please note:

All pianos are different, and in different conditions. Also, travel time and expense varies depending upon the locale of said piano or pianos...Price needs discussing in a comprehensive manner, with a qualified piano tuner, prior to the appointment. After the first tuning (or several, dependent upon condition and previous regularity of tunings) to regularly maintain a piano in tune, is usually more cost effective. Pianos that have been neglected are like a car that has not been driven... attempting to tune it may require multiple tunings. Having not been tuned in a long time, it seems logical that the strings are more likely to break, etc., as the thousands of pounds of pressure that the strings place on the piano harp and soundboard, have not been adjusted regularly.

Please know I will ask these questions:

A: Where are you located?

B: When was the last time it was tuned?

C: Piano's Make, Model and Serial Number, if you can, please?

With that info, I can give you a ballpark price range, with possible revision once I get "under the hood"... it's almost like asking a car repairman "how much to fix my car?" before he even sees it... or asking a plumber "how much to fix my leak?" before the plumber arrives. I will be able to give you a price range...
