A shot from yesterday. Sharswood Plantation (c. 1820), Mount Airy, Pittsylvania County, VA, was a 2,000 acre to***co plantation before the Civil War. It was run by brothers Nathaniel and Charles Miller. The Carpenter Gothic home and farm remained in the family until 1917, and sold again in 2020 to Frederick Miller, a descendant of people who had been enslaved at Sharswood. A fascinating story.
