❄️ Elsa ❄️ is about to come visit Southeast Louisiana. We are being told that they are expecting 5-8 inches of snow ❄️ . So I think we will definitely build a snowman ⛄️

just ten days after his 65th birthday.

A few fun facts for the
Disney’s Skyliner

🏎️ Did you know Disney's Skyliner travels at a speed of 11 MPH? Sometimes it seems a little faster when it’s coming in for a stop!

🎢 There are three lines coming and going from Skyliner’s hub at Caribbean Beach Resort. The three lines end at Hollywood Studios, EPCOT (via Riviera), and Art of Animation/Pop Century.

🏰 Each Skyliner gondola can hold up to 10 passengers without a wheelchair, ECV, or stroller on board.
If a member of your party has a wheelchair, EVC, or stroller capacity drops to 6 passengers. Strollers can remain open with a child riding in them as long as they fall within the maximum size requirements: 30″ x 48″. There is no AC in the Skyliner but, with cross ventilation you get sufficient air flow while gliding through the air.

🌧️ The Skyliner will shut down during inclement weather so when that happens, it’s back to the buses we go.

While it may not be the fastest transportation on Disney property, I think it is a lot of fun!

The Christmas season is in full swing! The first night of Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party was last night!
There is still time to get your tickets to experience this on your trip.

Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party takes place on select nights between November 8 and December 20, 2024.

Event Dates
November – 8, 11, 12, 14, 15, 17, 19, 21, 22, 24, 26, 27 and 29
December – 1, 3, 5, 6, 8, 10, 12, 13, 15, 17, 19 and 20
Event Times
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party will take place from 7:00 PM to midnight.

Ticket Prices
Event tickets are $169 to $219 per ticket, plus tax (prices vary by event date).

Discounts
Annual Passholders and Disney Vacation Club Members can save $10 per ticket to Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party—valid only for the following event nights:

November – 8, 11, 12, 14, 15, 17, 19, 21 and 22
December – 1, 3, and 5

Happy Halloween!

Did you know EPCOT has 2 entrances to the park?

🎢 First is the Main Entrance where the buses, parking lots, and monorail are located. If Guardians, Test Track, Living with the Land or Nemo is usually your first stop, then this is the entrance for you.
🏰 The other is in World Showcase where the Skyliner, boats, and walking paths to resorts and Hollywood Studios are located. If Ratatouille, Frozen, or drinking around the world, is your first stop then this is where you want to be.
Just a little something to remember when choosing your resort and making your daily plans.

⭐️🐭 Heads up, Disney fans!
Both Disneyland and Walt DisneyWorld are piloting the new Lightning Lane Premier Pass. Here’s a quick breakdown:

🐭🏰 Disneyland Resort: Starting Oct. 23, the Premier Pass will be available two days before your park visit and gives one-time access to all Lightning Lane attractions in both parks for the day.

🏰🐭 Walt Disney World Resort: Launching Oct. 30, available to guests at Disney Deluxe Resorts and can be booked up to seven days in advance for one park of choice per day.

Today is National Cinnamon Roll day!

There are many different places you can choose to get your cinnamon roll from but, my personal favorite is Gaston’s Tavern in Magic Kingdom.
It is big enough to share but no one can blame you if you choose to keep it all for yourself. These cinnamon rolls are the perfect quick breakfast option to eat on the run.
