A few days late, but I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas! 🎄🎁

Christmas was a little different this year at least for my family. Some were sick so we didn’t have our usual gathering. But, that’s just life sometimes, so you gotta make the most of what you can do. Like, lay on the couch! 😅

But, I’m praying for much better things to come in 2025. Not just for me, but my family as well!

As 2024 comes towards an end, I wanted to thank those who have supported my small business over the past 2 years. Whether you have actually booked with me or referred me to someone…everything counts! A like, comment, or share goes a long way!

It’s always been a dream of mine to be a travel agent and I get to live out that dream through Fairytale Journeys Travel

While I still do work a full-time job, this has been a fun “side business” to fulfill my passion of travel and be able to share my knowledge with my clients. Thank you for our stay at Universal’s Endless Summer’s Resort - Dockside Inn & Suites! ☀️

Staying at a Universal Orlando hotel has its perks! Like having a Starbucks inside their hotels helps out especially when you need to grab a warm drink before heading out to the parks on those chilly days! ☕️

Also, you have Free Shuttle Buses that take you straight to Universal City Walk or Volcano Bay. You have to go through City Walk first before you can get to the parks, so it’s just super convenient! 🚌

Story time!

This past Sunday before MVMCP, we were hanging out at Disney’s Contemporary Resort and I noticed a cast member who looked like Walt Disney 😅 Like…he had the mustache, facial structure, and everything. My dad thought he looked like Tony Baxter. And yeah, I can see the resemblance in both. So, we knew we had to go talk to him..😂

He said he had been there about 10 mins and we were the second person to come up and say that to him. 🤣🙈

Turns out as far as he knows, he has no relation to the Disney family but fun fact, he has played Walt on the Disney Cruise Line before. Now, he works at a cast member for DVC at the Contemporary! Such a nice guy! We all chatted for a bit and those are the moments we just love and he said the same.

Just connecting with people and hearing their stories and how they got to where they are now is just incredible!

🌎The EPIC Universe Preview Center is located in Universal CityWalk and we took a look inside!!

🌎You’ll see a HUUGE diorama display of the BRAND NEW theme park, EPIC Universe, opening May 2025!

🌎There’s merch you can buy from the new lands and photo ops around the store! It’s so fun!

🌎This is going to be one amazing theme park and we are SO excited to experience it all next year!

I wasn’t sure if I’d be around to see Tiana’s Bayou Adventure at night but thankfully, I was and got to see it! It photographs really well. While we were there, the attraction was closed anyway and getting wet wasn’t on our agenda. It was pretty chilly! 😬 But, I’ll ride it eventually when it’s warmer. 🥲

My Full Review of Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party 2024! 🎄❤️

On Sunday, December 1st, we went to MVMCP at the Magic Kingdom! This is a special, separate ticketed event held on select nights Nov-Dec.

The party officially starts at 7:00pm, but you can get into the park with your party ticket as early as 4:00pm. Crowds will start to form at the front gate even as early as 2 pm, but you do not need to be there that early. We arrived around 3:30 ish and had no issues getting in at 4. Once you scan in, you’ll get a wristband and a brochure. Party guests will be guided through a special entrance to the park with character meet and greets and you’ll receive a free ornament too!

Certain attractions will have holiday overlays like Tomorrowland Speedway, Space Mountain, Mad Tea Party, Jingle Cruise, and Monsters Inc Laugh Floor! We had the BEST time laughing on the speedway! 🤣🤣🤣

We just spent most of the night riding rides with low wait times. Most were walk-ons. You can get a lot done actually while most guests are on Main Street USA. Since the park closes for regular day guests at 6 on party nights, the app will stop showing wait times for an hour and start again at 7. If you can hang, watch the 2nd parade at 11pm. Should be easier to find a good viewing spot.

You can get free Hot Chocolate, Apple Cider, and cookies at different holiday treat locations. Look for the tall candy cane blow ups! The cups are small, so if you need more, just go get it! They have plenty! ☕️🍪

There’s specialty food & beverages and entertainment available throughout the park. We tried the Holiday Cheese & Chili Tamale at Peco’s Bill. So good! Check your brochure for times and locations😊
