Walt Disney World packages for 2023 will be released on June 8!

That gives you two weeks to start planning ahead - check your school calendars, think about your upcoming school breaks and how you want to spend them!

Also keep in mind any special celebrations that you have in the next year - Disney is a great place to celebrate! The 50th anniversary celebration runs through April 2023 so if you haven't been in a while then now is the time!

Why do we recommend that you book early? With Disney more popular than ever (see our previous post!), by booking early you will get your first pick for dates, resorts, and room types. This is especially important if you DO plan around school vacations and holidays.

Note about 2023 packages: Disney also announced that as of June 8 Genie+ will no longer be able to be added to full vacation packages - rather it must now be purchased day by guests. Not sure what that means and how to plan for your trip? That's where we come in!

Breaking Disney news! Walt Disney World and Disneyland are revamping their entire guest experience in the parks. This is just the beginning of Disney rolling out big news, read on to find out why there has never been a better time to have an ET Family Travel agent to help you plan your next visit to the Walt Disney World or Disneyland!

Here’s what we know so far:

🎟 FastPass (WDW) and MaxPass (DL) as we knew them are *not* returning

🧞‍♂️Disney Genie will now be the main way guests will experience the parks, will be built right into MyDisneyExperience, and will track your itinerary. There is NO cost for Disney Genie.

🧞‍♂️✨ Genie+ will be a paid option where guests of both WDW and DL can choose ‘Lightning Lane’ selections, one at a time, throughout the day. (This is most comparable to the old MAXpass system in DL)

🧍‍♂️Genie+ will be optional, as most rides will still have traditional standy queues

💰 In WDW, Genie+ will cost $15/pp per day; in DL it will cost $20/pp per day

🎢In addition to attractions available through Genie+, additional attractions will be available for ala carte purchase; pricing will be based on date, attraction, and park - more details to follow!

🏨 Walt Disney Resort guests can make their Genie+ selections at 7am on the day of their park visit, and/or purchase additional Lightning Lane passes (up to 2 per day). Day guests can access these features once entering the park.

🗓 No word yet on WHEN these changes will go into effect

Just in time for the start of 50th anniversary celebration, on Oct. 1, Walt Disney World will be offereing new benefits to on-site resort guests:

✨ A new early theme park entry benefit for Disney Resort hotel guests and guests of other select hotels, giving them the first chance to enjoy select attractions at EVERY theme park, EVERY day.

✨ Guests staying at one of our Disney Deluxe or Deluxe Villa Resort hotels will also be able to enjoy extended evening hours on select nights in select theme parks.

✨ Be on the lookout for surprise appearances by some favorite Disney pals like Goofy and Pluto, who will be dressed in their EARidescent best and dropping by to visit with guests at Disney Resort hotels!

✨ Reimagined rooms coming to two of the original Disney Resort hotels that opened alongside Magic Kingdom Park in 1971: Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort and Disney’s Contemporary Resort!

✨ Disney dining plan packages will return!!! While Disney has not announced a date this will return, we will be sure to keep you updated!

Wanted to share we just got back from Disney world about a week ago and it was amazing.
Average weight times were 15 to 30 minutes, the parks did not seem busy at all. Finally got to ride rise of resistance and all I can say is it’s amazing! I would love to help you book your next vacation! Here are a few of my favorite pics from our trip please message me if you have any questions.

Toy Story Land at Disney’s Hollywood Studios is by far one of my favorite parts of Disney! The amount of detail that they put into everything is amazing. Each time I go, I swear I see something I did not notice the trip before.

Hollywood is so different! Star Wars Galaxy Edge was Amazing so much attention to detail here, down to the trash cans. Run away Train was cute, but in my opinion we like the great movie ride better. Where else can you go and build your very own Droid.....
