In addition to a number of water activities to take part in including boating and fishing, the friendly locals ensure that your time in the area will be relaxing and worry-free. Via de Luna Drive and Fort Pickens Road are the two main streets in the area and have plenty of great seafood restaurants and boutique shopping to explore.
Here are a few additional suggestions of things to do in Pensacola Beach:

-Historic Downtown Pensacola: Just a few miles away from Pensacola Beach, this village features multiple museums and historical buildings.
The three main festivals in the area are held during the summer months, so you might want to plan your trip to coincide with them. The Family Beach Festival is Memorial Day Weekend in May. The Bushwacker and Music Festival, a weekend music festival with some of the most well-known acts in Florida takes place during the first weekend in August. The Pensacola Beach Air Show, where fighter planes perform tricks in the sky, takes place in July.
