It's hot out there in the direct sun! If you are planning a trip to Orange Beach make sure you read up on our rules so you can have shade. Tents must be placed NORTH of the marker posts/flags and any tents larger than 12x12 are NOT ALLOWED. If you are wanting to have shade by the water, be sure to bring an umbrella with you (can only have ONE point of contact with the sand)

We are so excited that sea turtle nesting season starts today! We want to remind everyone that conventional lighting confuses and disorients sea turtles and their hatchlings. When out on the beaches at night, please keep your lights off or use red/amber lights!

A few other tips:
1. Knock down your sand castles at the end of the day
2. Do not disturb sea turtle nests or sea turtles that are trying to nest
3. Do not dig large holes and be sure to fill in holes of all sizes at nightfall
4 Leave only footprints👣

Osprey nesting season is Mid-April to early May! This means they will be hunting frequently to keep themselves and their babies fed. Please be mindful of your fishing gear so these beautiful raptors stay safe!🤎
