Why the Beach Club?
Alabama has beaches?? Salt water? Yes, we weren’t too up on our geography at the time. We were invited to stay at The Beach Club 4 years ago and we have been in love ever since. We knew it was a matter of time before we bought our own unit and when the right deal came along, we snapped it up.
Our unit, D306 (D for the Doral Building), is a 3 bedroom, 2.5 bath condo on the third floor. The building was built in 1999 and was the second built in a string of four. (Avalon, Bristol, Catalina, & Doral) We love being in the Doral building because there is nothing to the right of us for at least a mile except for wide white sand beach, and sand dunes which means, more opportunity to find shells, or to be the first to spot wildlife or sea life.
One of these days, my lowly iPhone camera will capture the dolphins we see almost every morning. Until then, I just have to be satisfied with the birds, alligators, and flowers.
