Visiting the Gulf Coast is always amazing - there's so much to do in addition to visiting those sugar sand beaches. We recommend adding these 5 activities to your next family vacation.

1.) Visit the Alabama Gulf Coast Zoo: The Alabama Gulf Coast Zoo is a great place to spend a day with the family. The zoo is home to over 500 animals, including lions, tigers, bears, and giraffes. There are also many educational exhibits about the animals and their habitats.

2.) Go on a dolphin watching tour: Dolphin watching tours are a popular activity on the Alabama Gulf Coast. You may be able to see dolphins, sea turtles, and other marine life. It's magical and an easy way to spend time on the water with young kids.

3.) Visit the Gulf Shores State Park: where natural beauty abounds. The park has a swimming beach, a fishing pier, and a playground. There are also many hiking and biking trails.

4.) Go fishing: Fresh and salt water fish abound on the Gulf Coast. There are many charter companies that offer fishing trips, and you can also rent a boat and go fishing on your own.

5.) Visit the Foley Farmers Market: The Foley Farmers Market is a great place to find fresh produce, flowers, and other local goods. The market is open every Saturday morning and is the perfect start to your next amazing meal.
