Melba Walton, one of the greatest female entrepreneurs of her generation, founded Walton’s Jewelry in Franklin, Tennessee, in 1974. Following the success of the store, Melba invested in a two bedroom condo in her favorite place on earth: Gulf Shores, Alabama. What started as one investment property soon grew to five, creating a fun side business doubling as a perfect vacation destination for her children and grandchildren.
