In light of my personal experience living in the Keys and interacting with local property and business owners, I strongly recommend refraining from advising prospective visitors to cancel their trips, especially those planned weeks in advance. The Keys community's decision to deter tourists following the storm had dire consequences, including business closures and job losses. Nonetheless, visitors who choose to come despite potential disruptions will be vital to our recovery. By embracing these compassionate guests, we can support local establishments and facilitate the rebound of businesses, many of which will be operational very soon. Although beaches were affected, cities remain relatively unscathed, providing numerous opportunities for exploration and local engagement. Our tourists LOVE our community and just want to help!
Aqua Sol Adventures and many others will be back open and operational next week! We hope to see you soon!

It’s been a tough week trying to get ourselves back and ready to do business again. Captain Jon with Beach Charters By The Bay and I worked hand-in-hand to help clean up the marina along with many other captains. Captain Jon and I also continued to help each other to get our businesses set up for success here in the near future! Chasin Dreams found a new temporary home not too far away from the marina. We want to thank John and Cara Murphy for making this possible. Hopefully we will be able to start running trips within the next few days as the water begins to clear up and allow the citizens to deal with their homes.

Captain Jon with Beach Charters By The Bay, Captain Allen with Allen’s Aquatic Adventures and his first mate Rebecca worked tirelessly in the back of the marina to help get it cleaned up so they could do evaluations and figure out what needs to be done.
It looks like we are all going to be set up for success and ready to start running trips again in the very near future, just giving the citizens of Gulfport a little more time to take care of the things they need to take care of !

To all the captains that run in and out of Gulfport Marina! It is time to band together and help them. Marina dig out. Everybody has to take care of their own. I get it come Monday morning at 9 AM. I will be at the marina and I’m hoping to see many of you there as well helping in anyway we can dig out, the city of Gulfport and Marina to step up gentleman!

We can not express how fortunate we were with Chasin Dreams! The rest of the Marina was not so lucky!

Our new Boat Chasin Dream appears to have made it through without to much issue. A few minor things.
The area took a hard hit, but it is very resilient and will bounce back better than ever. As soon as things are cleaned up and the water settles down we will be back up and running!
We look forward to to see each and everyone of you in the future!
