ccupies 2.5 acres anchored by old growth trees in a trail-filled forest between Scottsboro Highway 79 North and Lake Guntersville. The front lawn is composed of wild edibles, fruit trees, garden vegetables and fruit, hanging herbs and vegetables grace the porch and back deck. The trail system was started with a simple game trail that traversed the property and is a popular byway for wild creatures of all kinds for access to the Lake from the hills and canyons of Grant Mountain. Mountain Lakes Retreat currently has 2 units available, both with 2 bedrooms, one bath, living room glass door to deck opening onto forest, fully service kitchen & dining area, living room with WiFi/TV. All units are eco-furnished. We do not use air fresheners, instead, we use hanging potted plants such as mint to freshen the rooms. Each unit is stocked with handmade local products such as lotions, soaps, shampoos and curiosities. Amenities: (optional)
