The 39th Annual Eagle Awareness starts THIS weekend at Lake Guntersville State Park-Alabama!🦅 Start your Saturday morning with a field trip to explore eagle habitats, followed by afternoon sessions featuring live bird presentations by Raptor Ridge, Wings to SOAR, and the Alabama Wildlife Center. Packages are still available that include lodging, meals, and VIP access to photo opportunities with the birds of prey. Don't forget to grab a photo with Legacy while you're there! 📸

The annual Race to the Cave at Cathedral Caverns State Park-Alabama is coming up on March 1 and 2! The event kicks off with a 5K on Saturday, followed by the 10K and Half Marathon on Sunday. This weekend is your last chance to hit the ice at Sand Mountain Skate in downtown Albertville. ⛸⛸The rink will be open on Friday from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Saturday from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Skate tickets start at $8 and are valid for the entire day!

Hey, pickleballers! 🏓 Sand Mountain Park is hosting the AL Winter Open next weekend, January 11 - 12. This tournament will be inside with round robin style matches. Men’s and women’s doubles will take place on Saturday, followed by mixed doubles, junior singles, and doubles on Sunday. The last day to register is THIS SUNDAY!
