I just spent a week on Norwegian Cruise Line’s Epic. Had a wonderful time around the Caribbean and exploring the ship. This was my first time on NCL and I look forward to getting back; I want to try Prima or Viva next!

The staff was wonderful and so was the food. The ship, the only one like it in their fleet, is polarizing. Especially the bathroom of the stateroom, since it’s not a traditional layout. I found it awkward but not unbearable for the week with just my partner and me in an interior cabin. Otherwise, there are plenty of dining options, bars, and outdoor spaces. The hot tubs at Spice H2O, the adults only section, were never crowded each night. But we did have an issue with the pool towel station closing really early each night, so if you didn’t get a fresh pool towel you were out of luck for one; Guest Services just told us to use our regular bath towels in the stateroom instead.

Final night of the sailing. 😪 Time for a beautiful evening “dining by the sea” at La Cucina. Sad to always say good bye because cruises are such a good time. Sadly we didn’t get to stop at Great Stirrup Cay due to weather. But overall this was a wonderful trip. Thanks to all the hardworking staff and crew of Norwegian on the Epic!
