Hello members! We are excited to share that the ramp replacement project is beginning. By the start of the 2025 boating season, we will have a new community boat ramp for use by all DBPOA members!

The ramp will be closed starting January 11th to begin demolition of the existing ramp. If you intend to remove your boat using the Drum Bay Estates boat ramp, please do so by then.

Demolition and project timing is very weather and tide dependent, but the entire project is expected to take 10-12 weeks. Concrete ramp sections will be poured by the beach, and after fully cured will be transported to the pier area to begin construction of the new ramp.

Hello Drum Bay Community,

Here we are going into fall and we have had a really busy spring/summer season. Cookouts, bingo, new neighbors, boat ramp estimates (hopefully a new ramp by next year) and even a wedding! On October 12th we have two events left for the year to bring us all together again for more community fellowship at the cabana.

At 10AM we will gather for our fall maintenance and cleanup to divvy up the chores. Please help out if you can. Chores are most often completed before noon. The more people that can chip in, the quicker it goes! In case of rain, the rain date for the cleanup will be October 19th.

At 5:00 pm we will have our last fundraiser of the year to help build up our ramp fund, so please spread the word and join us for a chili cook off! David Adcock is our reigning king from last year. Who can dethrone him? For $6 you get to taste all of the chili’s entered along with salad and cornbread and voting for a winner. Don’t forget to bring your cooler and favorite refreshment. We also will be doing our 50/50 raffle. Hope to see you and your guests with some really good chili!
