I'll be coming to the Portland area this weekend, if anyone wants tuna delivered, let me know (Jen)! $10 per pound for vacuum packed, frozen albacore, some singles but mostly 2 to 4 loins per bag.

We signed the lease on Monday, so I guess we are staying awhile! That means we need to prep to tear down and rebuild - I would love to sell as much of our inventory as possible so we don't have to pack it up (and to help with funding the new building of course!) All merchandise is at least 10% off for the rest of the month, and apparel is 20% off. If you want case bait, I have red and green label Puget Sound Herring and Columbia River Bait green and blue label anchovies. I also have a few Millenial Bait mulch and coonies, as well as some Looney Coonies and tails. And of course we have vac packed and frozen tuna loins for $10 per pound!

If there is something you can't find at other stores, let me know and if I have it, I'd be happy to ship it to you, I still have almost every Simon blade and a whole wall of 2.0 and 3.0 Spinfish, as well as a nice selection of VIP, Shortbus, and Coldwater Strong products!

If we missed you this morning, I apologize but we needed to catch some for ourselves and have a little fun! We limited in pretty spectacular fashion, we couldn't even get the lines back out at the end and we had coho chasing caught coho to the boat, lots of fun and well worth being sea sick for a couple hours!

WEDNESDAY HOURS - we will be here between 5 am and 8 am for bait sales then we are closing and going fishing! So there won't be any fish cutters here until we get back. We apologize for any inconvenience, but we busted ass all month and we never get to go to the ocean so we are going to take advantage of the one-day ocean opener!

TUNA UPDATE! We cut, vac packed and put most of the last batch of tuna in the freezer but that just means it's ready for you to take home to eat or can at your leisure! $10 per pound and you don't have to wait for it to be prepped. And for people that think that sounds too high in comparison to $3.50 per pound whole fish price, here is some math: if you buy a 10-pound fish for $35 + $10 for cutting +$5 for vac packing that is approx 5 pounds of meat for $50. Exact same as $10 per pound for loins - come and get them! We may have more fresh on Wednesday as well, if you prefer that, let us know so I know there is interest out there!

I think fresh bait is done sadly, just not enough orders to make the run over or for the dock workers to be there. Thank you to everyone who have been loyal bait buyers this year, we will keep frozen on hand!

We are taking orders for case bait, but since we are going to be tearing down and rebuilding, we will not be able to hold the bait for everyone all winter. So you have 2 options this year - order it and take it ASAP, or hope there is still some left in February and we will go grab it to take to the Sportsman Show for pick ups. Let me know!

Friendly reminder - the herring costs me a lot to get and I make very little on it, almost nil by the time you factor in I have to drive to Chinook to get it at 6 pm. I'm getting it as a courtesy. I had 3 leftover yesterday and 5 today, so I'm not buying any extra from now on. If you want herring, your order needs to be in before 11 am. Thank you!

Oh my goodness, I was watching, but of course everything happens when we aren't looking- we hit and passed 1000 followers! Tristan Jones was number 1000 so you get a free hoodie, but thanks to everyone who has liked and followed!!! I mentioned bait options earlier but haven't discussed tackle in awhile - I have received a lot of compliments this year on our wider selection, especially how much Simon blades (Hawken Fishing Products) we have. Do other people only stock certain colors? I have every color so far as I know! I am out of Copper Bronco soft spinners but have plenty of blades and Seaker Spinners, as well as our products from VIP Outdoors Rhays Spinners Action Custom Tackle ColdWater Strong Millennial Bait Company and Shortbus Flashers! We will be running specials over Labor Day weekend to try to reduce some stock - if you have a certain item you've been looking for, get it this week! We don't want to pack a bunch when we rebuild so I won't be ordering more (sadly, I really hate empty slots 😆)
