June 10 2020: Ahoy from the rocky waters of 2020. We were pleasantly surprised to learn the other day that we have permission to launch for the year, immediately; rather than Phase 4-July. By keeping the core of the popular experiences of our multi-award winning and 5-star rated women-owned start up, while also improving them with new safety elements navigating the complexities of Covid, we are thrilled to introduce the OnKeuka! 2020 Outings.

OnKeuka! is Operating in PHASE II (mid-June) 2020. Our vision for the safety of our guests, staff and community is below with our "We Go Overboard for Covid" modifications.

1. All guests are asked to wash hands with foaming soap 30 seconds at Depot Dock pre-Boarding Bathrooms.
2. All guests will be infrared temped prior to boarding (we are equipment trained by an ICU RN)
3. All guests will only be seated with their group; social distanced from others
4. All guests will bring masks (or clean fabric Mouth + nosetight-covering); Masks available for purchase at pre-Boarding (pink or black)
5. All guests will answer the standard CDC 3 questions for Covid exposure
6. All staff are COVID tested and tempted daily with results on-display
7. Boat is cleaned with marine products that kills 99.9% virus& bacteria
8. Boat has been 100% disassembled down to the pontoons and cleaned. The carpet and subflooring removed; replaced with disinfectable-marine vinyl flooring.
9. Hand sanitizer (made locally) stocked in no-touch nebulizer dispensers on board
10. Coolers provided & dedicated for each private seating section of the boat
11. Staff will be social distanced / masked for guests comfort
12. Lysol Virus Disinfectant Laundry additive to washing of any towels we provide
13. All guests are encouraged to wash hands with foaming soap 30 seconds at Depot Dock Disembarkment Bathrooms at Departure.

Fortunate to live in a country where one can follow their passions, dreams and interests. Having started this little business in the summer of 2015 allowed me to be near my aging parents in their final chapters. Also meeting people from all over the Northeast, US and the world in a fabulous and intimate setting of my pontoon boat for 11. Staffing Inquiries:
We are slowly dusting things off and it's nice to have the interest coming in to work with us. I must admit, I have no concrete idea and am not certain when I will know exactly how much hiring we will be doing. Life with a start up is a very dynamic (exciting) setting. What I can confidently share is that there are 2 initial requirements to work with us on the NYS Public Vessel boats for Keuka Water Taxi - the Original c.2015, Keuka Lake Shoreline Tours - the Original c.2015, Keuka Lake Charters and Keuka Boat Bellhop 1) Is the Official NYS Boater Safety course - taken in past 24 months; the real one - not the knock offs online; and 2) The NYS Parks department Joint Pilot & Engineer License. It is administered in Albany, NY but also when they come to Keuka to inspect boats (typically May).

Currently we have internship opportunities; inquire for more details on those.

Keuka Water Taxi - the Original c.2015 our day was ...sideways rain, 25 knot winds, gusts 30 on an open console for 3.5 hours mastering a course appropriately named and timed "Difficult Docking" ...
Note the stiff and straight flags in the background and my gray bandana is soaked... face red from rain and wind .... the dock scramble int he p*s to take down flags and displays as we returned to port...my cohorts (Miami police officer Richard and Alex from Gaudalupe who has a 75 ft had their lives in my hands). We did see 2 manatee along the stern (as I was preparing to reverse)
