So stoked to get my nephew, Mason, on his first Black Drum and his first Redfish. This kid is a fighter.

In 2021 he was diagnosed with grade 4 Glioblastoma which is a rare brain cancer. He has gone through multiple surgeries and rounds of Chemotherapy. Right now, he is on an alternative treatment plan that costs us about $17,000 per month. We have another fundraiser coming up at Leaf and Barrel on the 29th. If you can’t make it to the event or donate, we ask that you please share his story. To know him is to love him and he needs our help.

The wind picked up yesterday, but we convinced this 28 inch redfish to come take a picture with us before we let him swim back home. We broke another fish off on the docks and decided to go have fun casting to bluefish on light tackle. Great day on the water enjoying this spring weather.
