We get the question alot: Why LunaBlu?

I figured today on their birthday was a good time to answer that.
First, Luna and Blu are our cats. But the name LunaBlu? It means “Blue Moon,” which sounds all poetic, but really, it’s because me getting a cat was about as likely as spotting an actual blue moon.

For years, the dream of having a kitten seemed impossible—thanks, allergies. But one day, the stars aligned, my immune system chilled out, and Luna entered my life 13 years ago. Naturally, I figured, “Why stop at one when chaos comes in pairs?” 10 years ago we welcomed home Blu, because who needs a clean house anyway?

So here we are, 13 years later, celebrating Luna, the queen of sass, and Blu, the king of naps.

Happy birthday to our furry friends who officially run this house and the namesake of our business!
