River estate was getting online promotion from the very beginning because there wasn’t many properties being advertised online and all the advertising sites and travel sites started promoting vacation rentals. This is an article put up in 1996 when the Riverhouse came online. Recall how this came about. We also made National Geographic as well.

Bottom: The original shack I built with a friend in 1972 out of the used lumber and materials from a complete house i bought, took apart and rebuilt into this surfer palace. It was destroyed in hurricane Ewa in 1982.

It’s been an interesting year for fruit trees this year. Heavy flowering. One of my new mango trees flowered and is making fruit at less than 2 years old. It usually takes 5 or so years to produce fruit. My huge old Hayden tree made tons of flowers but no fruit held. It was the wrong variety for a north shore valley. The two new young mangoes are for wetter climate. No not rain forest just less sun….

.....Google Map account showing my image on other peoples Google Maps listing somehow after I wrote a review for each of them. I got a laugh out of that when I saw it. One of those images has 600,000 views that’s what I call exposure… Anyhow, The large image here is one of many on my Google Listing. This one shows the neighborhood kids playing at the end of my driveway as they have for 40 years. They jump off the bridge and climb out on my property and then go do it again over and over.  it’s a community tradition...
