Water temps are now below 60* surface temperatures on portage and low 50's at the entries. A great last weekend of fishing upcoming. Walleyes are being caught on cranks tipped with crawlers running 5-15ft shallow out to 30' of water. Last night we managed a 29" and a couple nice eaters - on a slow bite.

Salmon and coho are being caught in the entries on cranks and shallow downriggers.

Perfect day to take a trip with the family for some fishing and swimming in Lake Superior out of Eagle Harbor. Super calm day and the girls got to experience reeling in Lake Trout for the first time - reeling in 3 fish in a little over an hour and seeing some freighters.

Always nice heading out on a beautiful night and then heading back in with a good catch of lake trout in the livewell. We missed a couple at the end but had good action 80-100’ down off farmers reef in Keweenaw Bay. Had a nice time with a nice father and son team from Wisconsin. Hope to see them again in the future!

A slower day on the big lake but we found some lake trout off farmers reef in Keweenaw Bay. Thanks to a great group of guys from Lower Michigan. They’ll have lake trout for dinner tonight.

Had a great time fishing with a group of gentlemen from Minnesota. A good crew to fish with. The bite started out slow but we switched gears to casting for some pike and a nice 22” walleye.
