Since 1990, The Hanover Tavern Foundation has overseen the operations, activities and preservation of this historic landmark, one of the oldest surviving taverns in the United States. Hanover Tavern Restaurant & Pub operates as a full service restaurant providing lunch, dinner, and weekend brunch. The Tavern is a perfect place for your wedding, event, party, or business meeting, small or large. Au

We're here at Winter On The Green kicking off the holiday season with Hanover County Parks and Recreation ! The event starts at 5pm and runs until 8pm! There are tons of things to do, including tours of the historic buildings, activities for the kids, a tree lighting, carolling, and more!

Come join us right across from the Hanover Tavern for some holiday fun, and then join us at the Tavern and warm up by the fireplace with a hot beverage! ☕️ 🎄
