I currently have some clients enjoying the world‘s tallest building in Dubai called the Burj Khalifa. (Photos used with their permission)

They are staying in Dubai for two nights until they get to their final destination in the Maldives.

There are just no words to say when something so terrible happens like this plane and helicopter crash in DC. My heart, thoughts and prayers go out to all involved. I just can not imagine.

REAL ID is coming!

REAL ID is a federal law that affects how states issue driver's licenses and ID cards if they are going to be acceptable for federal purposes, such as boarding a domestic commercial flight, or entering a military installation or federal facility that requires ID.

Beginning May 7, 2025, Pennsylvanians will need a REAL ID-compliant license/identification card, or another form of federally-acceptable identification (such as a valid passport or military ID) to:

Board domestic commercial flights.
Enter a military base.
Enter a federal facility that requires ID at the door.
Do I have to get a REAL ID?
No. REAL ID is optional for Pennsylvania residents. You will be able to get either a REAL ID driver’s license/identification card, or a standard driver’s license or identification card.

If you do not get a REAL ID, you must have an alternate form of federally-acceptable identification (valid passport, military ID, etc.) to board domestic commercial flights and enter certain federal facilities after May 7, 2025.

Ok. So this is not a place where I would book you a vacation, BUT if you’re ever road tripping and come across Buc-cees in your journey, make sure you stop!!

This convenience store/gas/rest stop is OFF THE HOOK.

It’s like Cracker Barrel with all of its cuteness (times a hundred) meets Wawa with food and convenience (times a hundred). And then times it all by a hundred.

We stopped at the one in Florence, SC.

Have you ever been to one? If so where and what did you think?

Buc-ee’s is a chain of travel centers known for clean bathrooms and many fueling positions.
