Made it to our overnight at the 1799 Inn Harpers Ferry in Harpers Ferry, WV. We are staying one night here because I wanted to see this place again. We brought the kids here years ago and took photos of where the rivers meet. We arrived at night so I hope to take a walk in the morning to see it. (Depends on how cold it feels out!) We’re staying in an old inn that has been updated. (We also stopped in Millersville, PA to pick up the other boy!!☺️🥰)
Life note: When traveling, if you plan to stay in a hotel, consider not staying in a chain hotel. Instead find something off the beaten path and owned by individuals/families. It will support small business and give you something more interesting to see and talk about it and create a new memory connected to a place.
