At our Harpers Ferry property you get the convenience of having a separate barn studio. It’s perfect for entertaining because the lower level has a billiards room with this bar cabinet. Upstairs is a studio apartment that sleeps four plus a kitchenette. We’ve thought of everything so you don’t have to. Weekends still available in December!

Cherry Crest Adventure Farm is one of the top 10 best corn mazes in the US, and just half an hour from our Lancaster AirBnBs!

In the STR (short term rental) industry you often hear people talk about “heads in beds” - meaning the more people you can fit into a property, the more that property’s going to rent for and the more often it’s going to rent out.

Our business philosophy is the opposite. We’re more concerned about things like what type of bed would our guests prefer to sleep on? It should be a King size whenever possible! What linens and mattresses are the most comfortable? We’ve got our tried and true ones that we buy again and again. What other amenities and finishes will make our guests feel warm and welcome? In this particular bedroom, it’s an antique mirror and a designer chandelier.

The primary suite at our General Store property underwent a major transformation. From extensive plaster repairs to adding overhead lighting, this room required lots of love and attention. But the result? Absolutely worth it!

The final design of this room evolved over time, and we're thrilled with how it turned out. Just two weeks before our photoshoot, we went a little crazy and had paint the walls and all the trim this moody green/grey. We think it perfectly complements the leather bed as the centerpiece. To add character and charm, we incorporated a vintage pine dresser from , a custom painted tapestry by , and a modern gold floor-length mirror.

The 5 star reviews keep rolling in - come experience this special historic property for yourself!

“Traveling to all 50 states over a few years and this house was the best place we’ve ever stayed! Leigh provided clear instructions and was exceptionally responsive! The former distillery home was beautifully designed, not cluttered and had everything you could possibly need. They even provided laundry pods so we could do a load of laundry hassle free. We visited the beautiful Lancaster countryside but truthfully we just wanted to stay in the house because of its rustic beauty. We are hoping to be back soon! Would give more than 5 stars if allowed! The pictures do not do the home justice, please go see in person!”

Capping off a great weekend with friends, and also reminiscing about the fun I missed out on a year ago because we were spending every spare moment renovating 🔨 🛠️🪛🪚😅. I’ll leave you with this subtle but marvelous before and after of the foyer…we have a couple of summer weekends left to experience this historic beauty firsthand!

Kitchens hold a special place in every experience, offering something unique that hotels simply cannot match. They are spaces that need modern comforts, well-stocked with all the cooking tools and utensils, and a beautiful design is always a plus.

When we first acquired this property, the kitchen was a dimly lit space with a wood ceiling that seemed to enclose it - but also brimming with untapped potential!

Among the highlights of our renovation was the enigmatic original kitchen sink that a friend jokingly dubbed “Mission Control” due to its odd array of valves and k***s and 5 different compartments. Our new sink and faucet from were a much needed upgrade!

We knew we wanted to preserve and refresh the existing Amish-made cabinets— so we brought in to do the job. New counters and flooring from went in too.

The final piece of the renovation was drywalling the wood ceiling to accommodate new electrical work and can lights. I’m so glad we put in the extra work to keep the original exposed beams - so charming!

Stepping into the transformed kitchen today makes me want to whip up a culinary masterpiece…but let’s be honest, my cooking skills don’t quite match my renovating skills 😉

Our second spring at the PA does not disappoint. This year, instead of being under major renovation, we get to enjoy the small moments like the blooming pink dogwood tree out front. We just wrapped up some new updates around the house, which we can’t wait for our guests to enjoy. This stunning antique mirror from being one of them!

It’s International Dark Sky Week, raising awareness about light pollution. West Virginia is one of the best places to enjoy the night sky. This picture was taken at our farmhouse Airbnb from the pool! It’s truly blissful being able to enjoy the stars on a clear night while relaxing in the heated pool.
