My spring fling on the Susquehanna has come and gone already. It was short and sweet. Plenty of quality fish caught, the boat is running great and we had a blast!

I apologize for my lack of posting. As I age and my ego fades, I realize that when the guiding schedule is filled for months, constantly posting fish pictures on social media does more hard than good. If you’re sick of boats being everywhere you want to go, you may want to consider doing the same. Just know that I am still here doing my thing. If you are interested in scheduling a date, feel free to reach out.

I’ll be up north for the next two months and the posts will continue to be sparse.

Alex and Jeff came from Iowa and Ohio to experience the Susquehanna for the first time. Both are heading back to the Midwest with PB's. Alex caught a 21.25" fish that weighed 5.29 #.

John and Corey were able to piece together one of those really special days out on the Susquehanna. So many big fish. Best 5 fish stats were 100.75" @ 21.94 #. Corey stuck big fish of the day right at 5 # and 20.75" followed by John's 4.68 # and 20.25". Great job guys, it was fun to watch.

Harrison's birthday present from his brother Marshall was a day on the Susquehanna. Both guys boated a 20" fish, and their best 5 was just 4oz short of 20 #.

And just like that, my summer run on the Susquehanna is complete. Fishing this summer was as good as it gets. Thank you to all the happy folks I was able to share it with and to everyone else that helps make the wheels go round.

I am heading upstate for the fall but we have a group of excellent guides running trips this fall on the Susquehanna.

Richard treated his 2 grandsons to a morning trip chasing Smallmouth. It was a successful morning for all 3 of them putting a good number of fish in the boat. No giants buts almost all the fish caught were good quality other than a few smalls.

Two Father & Son duo’s this week. First Mike and his son Tony made the drive from Indiana to fish the Susky with Tom. They both boated their PB smallie with Tony’s taking top honors at 5.2lbs. Then Mike and his son Lucas lit them up boating many nice fish.

The Susquehanna keeps cranking them out. Another great week of it. I didn’t catch a single fish, nor did I try. I only caught five or six fish myself since I’ve been back on the Susquehanna this summer, and I’m ok with that. I focus on running the boat and I enjoy seeing others make that perfect cast and maybe catch that next PB. I believe our customers were happy this past week with what the Susquehanna has to offer, that’s all that matters. I look forward to the next couple weeks of it before heading back up north for the fall.

Another fantastic week on the Susquehanna. Highlight of the week, a 150+ fish day on a combination of summertime powering fishing tactics. Been charting seven days a week for the past three weeks and this river just keeps amazing me. Looking forward to another action packed week 🎣
