This kid just had a day most kids only dream of!
After years of watching dad fish with the "REAL" Santa aka Steel Head Scott , Trax finally had the chance to put Santa on some steelhead himself ❤️🎅🎣

Fishing was 🔥 and we had it all to ourselves!
Ol Lamiglas classic glass put in some work this morning 💪
we have dates available starting Jan 1st! Lets bring in the new year with some bent rods!

I could go on and on how thankful and special today was but I'll just let the pictures speak for themselves. Truly a day none of us will ever forget. Someday Trax will play it off to his kids that he got to fish with the real Santa when he was little.

There's still some time to get in on the Salmon action and of course some great lakes steelhead!

Waiting for ice season? Come take a relaxing float in the meantime and battle some hard fighting, acrobatic steelhead!

We've had couple days we had to work for them but overall we've had more really good days with the salmon and steelhead this fall/early winter.

Steelhead fishing is also going great this fall with good numbers of fish in every system we've been on.
The end of the year is near and we've got some dates left to fill before closing out yet another amazing season for 2024.

Yet another killer day in the books 🔥

Today's trip was a special one, i had gifted half day to some great clients/friends of mine for a wedding present. They ended up turning into a full day and man what a day we had!
We lost our share of hot fish but action stayed with us all day using multiple different tactics putting small handful into the hoop and just as many long distance releases.

Congratulations to the newly weds!

The number of fish around this fall is nothing short of impressive. Fishing should continue to be good into the winter for both steelhead and Atlantic salmon.

We have done raffles in the past to raise money but this one Cuts a little deeper than most.💔

Some class mates of mine from high-school are going through some of the most unimaginable pain right now.
Jeremy and his family had to say their final goodbyes to their teenage daughter over the past week. They were notified that their daughter Havannah was involved in a very bad accident and she had to be flown to Helen Devos. Unfortunately she had sustained a very serious head injury and after 3 days they had to make the most difficult decision no parent ever wants to make and they had to let go.
Please help me raise some money to help them in this time of need. I know absolutely no amount of money can help heal the pain they are going through but it can help with any financial burdens they may be facing.

I am going to raffle off a full day trip.($500) value
This trip can be for Salmon next fall or Steelhead.
Spots are going to be $25 each.
I am gonna start with 50 spots available

We missed a few but the ones that connected were in tight lumber filled pockets and made for some epic blood pumping battles and still ended up in the hoop!

Good friend of mine Jason wanted to get his daughter on her first salmon and we did that this morning a few times over.
Zoey absolutely killed it today! Caught on to float fishing really fast, within few drifts she was making some super smooth drifts, maling great cast in not so easy of a spot with low hanging branches over head. She got caught sleeping on the first couple good bites and then finally stuck one hard! Line was mended perfect, Bobber drained and she came back with a hook set harder than most men 💪 the fight was on and her first fish on the Bobber was beautiful clean Hen chinook. Thunder stick bite was good as well and provided her and Jason with 3 of the 5 fish we put in the hoop this morning. She not only out fished her dad but also boated the biggest one of the morning 🤣

Thanks again For the support Jason. Truly grateful and happy to help make the memories we did this morning for you and Zoey. Next we gotta ✔️ steelhead off her list. 💯
There is no bigger reward as a Guide than making unforgettable memories like this for so many people. So blessed to live this life.
