Here are the pics of the final Owner's Suite renovation. We added 2 twin beds in the upstairs loft for a little extra sleeping space. Still working on a tv and seating upstairs. Baby steps!

If you're using a map app, they tend to bring you to the boat launch in front of the main house. The entrance is at the top of the hill between the boat launch and Mostetler Rd. Look for the gate on the opposite side of the road from the lake.

ORV enthusiasts! We have a couple miles of trails on site, but we're also very close to some of the best trails in the lower peninsula.

The Gladwin trail is often included in top ten trail lists on the internet and is approx a half hour from Carriage Inn.

Thank goodness spring is here and things are starting to warm up!

We're very excited to be putting the final touches on our renovations this month! To celebrate and share our updates, we're inviting everyone to an open house on Sunday, May 30th (Memorial Day weekend) from 10am - 6pm. Come check us out, take in the views, walk the trails, and enjoy the property. We look forward to seeing you!

It's looking like it will be late spring by the time we get everything the way we want it to be able to host renters at Carriage Inn. The plan is to have an open house in May for anyone that wants to stop by and see all the changes. Stay tuned while we finalize the date and share some pictures.

Our biggest renovation was bringing the abandoned owners suite back to life. Completely gutted and renovated, this rental now offers a private retreat for those in your group that might prefer a little solitude. Or maybe a couple or small family traveling alone. One queen bedroom, a combined living/dining area, and a small kitchen. Brand new cabinets, fixtures, and luxury vinyl flooring throughout the first floor. There's an upstairs loft as well that will be carpeted in the spring, where kids could throw down some sleeping bags or air mattresses. Here are some pics of our renovation in action. We'll get finished product pictures as soon as the carpet and furniture are in. Who will be the first to stay in our newest accommodations?!
