Always worth sharing! We are thankful to continue sharing our blessings with our community.

Today would have been our grandma's 91st birthday, so I thought it would be a great opportunity to share the story behind our name because it's a nod to the legacy she and Grandpa left for our family.

Azure is the color of the Pacific Ocean. We spent countless vacations at the beach - collecting seashells, watching sunsets and sorting out life. Many of my favorite childhood memories happened at that beach.

Azure is also the color of the Mediterranean Sea which surrounds the tiny island of Malta - Grandpa's home that we visited when I was very young, but old enough to remember. On that island, he connected me to his heritage, my heritage.

Azure was the color of Grandma's eyes. With just a glance, those eyes could speak volumes - sometimes love, sometimes correction, but always what was needed in the moment.

Azure is also the name of the street where they lived and raised their family. It is where we all grew up and came back to often. It was always a safe place, like a hollow, when the world became too much.

And so, Azure Hollow. A place where you're always welcome.

Azure Hollow?

What kind of name is Azure Hollow? Well, Azure is a nod to our Papa who was a solid rock to our family. It reminds us of the azure waters surrounding the island of Malta, his birthplace. It is the name of the street where he lived and we made countless memories.

Azure is also a type of butterfly. When thinking of nurturing our families, butterflies are an appropriate representation of the care that is taken to develop our children into who they were created to be.

A hollow is a safe, protected place to grow within the forest.

We created Azure Hollow to be a place for young entrepreneurs to explore and develop business and product ideas. As time and space allow, we host events and bring in additional products from community members to provide an enjoyable shopping experience for our customers.
