Good news Hartford, Tuesgays are staying! 🏳️‍🌈

A special message from WestSide Square Hartford, “In honor of Tisane and support of Hartford and our LGBTQIA+ community, West Side Square will be continuing “Tuesgays at Tisane,” featuring one of Tisane’s favorite bartenders and DJs. As West End residents and business owners, we share the impact of the loss of Tisane and want to continue to provide those we’ve built great bonds with over the years a safe space for food, drinks, games, laughs, and even more memories.”

Like the rest of Hartford, we at Experience HTFD were heartbroken to hear about the closing of Tisane. We are so thankful for WestSide Square Hartford for continuing to honor them.

The incredible food of the West End!

The food scene in the West End does not leave its residents wanting for anything. On Farmington Avenue, you’ll find people getting their caffeine fix from Tisane Euro-Asian Cafe in the morning and members of the LGBTQ+ community returning to the bar at night for their specialty cocktails. Next door, Monte Albàn features some of the most authentic Mexican food you’ll find in the city.

After grabbing a bite at one of the Farmington Ave favorites, it’s an easy walk to the Spigot Cafe on Prospect Avenue. If you’re a craft beer lover, you will be thrilled with their rotating draft line.

The CT Ice Hockey Tournament is back at the XL Center! In partnership with the four Division I men's collegiate hockey teams – University of Connecticut, Quinnipiac University, Sacred Heart University, and Yale University, the CT Ice tournament will return for the fourth season. The fourth edition of the annual tournament returns January 26-27 at the XL Center in Hartford.

Pratt Street is being transformed once again into an open-air, outdoor holiday market!

Each weekend, you can shop from local artisans who will be popping up at the Winter Village, enjoy live musical performances and demonstrations, eat and drink at the street's restaurants and bars, and visit Pratt Street retail businesses.

The Pratt Street Winter Village will be open December 8th - 9th and 15th - 16th.

Winterfest Hartford returns to Bushnell Park November 24th for another season of free ice skating, free skate rentals, free learn-to-skate classes, and more.

The rink is open Monday through Friday, from noon to 8 pm, and Saturdays and Sundays from 11 am – 8 pm through January 7th, 2024.
