Mother's Day is just over a month away! I have had so many customers use my paper mache letters and numbers for cupcake boxes or filled with other snacks as charcuterie boards by cutting off the tops and laying them flat. Wouldn't these be cute for photo props? Lots of ideas to celebrate your mother in May 🌷💝

We had a little taste of spring in Michigan this past week and with spring and summer come graduation parties! These graduation number sets have been a hit in my shop since I started selling them in 2016 and make great decorations to celebrate your grad. I'm doing a craft show on Saturday for the first time in a very long while and I'm taking the opportunity to complete some projects I've put off for a long time. We'll see if I get any more "princess" ornaments ready in time.

It's here! I've had a new project in the works for a couple of months and even got to collaborate with my dad (and learn a bit about electrical wiring)! Here's my prototype - I already know a few things I'd like to tweak for my next one. Not yet listed in my shop yet as I need to figure out some shipping logistics but available locally now. I may consider a weekend rental option.

I have a bad habit of stocking up on things for the shop but never getting around to listing them That will change this year! Even if my photos aren't perfect or I have variations planned but haven't worked out all the details, my shop offerings are going to grow in 2021. My new listing for today are 6" tall, free standing white wood numbers. I see these as birthday and graduation decorations and they would work great as end of the season player number momentos as well. I have a school spirit, rainbow and neutrals set so far. I still have a few more colors to list as well. Tons of patterns and tutorials on YouTube - making bracelets is a great way to stay occupied during the coming cold months.

I'm not back yet but I've turned off vacation mode for Heartland Home. I will be able to ship orders again beginning Thursday, November 5th. Vacations are wonderful but it will be good to get back home to the Mitten State too.

I am going on vacation! My shop will be open tonight but tomorrow I am putting it on vacation mode. Unfortunately, this means I will not be able to receive Etsy convos but I will be back soon and able to ship again in a couple of weeks.

Crafting is popular while staying home this spring! Keeping my paper mache letters and numbers has been an adventure and I've found a couple of new suppliers as a result. I have a slightly different style of 12" graduation number which is a little more compact and also added an 8" high version!
