Congratulations Teresa!🤩

The Chamber has selected Teresa Fedorchak, Sole Proprietor of T-Fed Marketing as the recipient of the Chamber Impact Award in recognition of selfless service and significant donation of her time and talent to the Lake Township Chamber of Commerce.

Teresa is a graduate of Kent State University with a Bachelor of Science in Advertising. Most of her career has been spent in sales/account management for small to medium-sized advertising agencies with one brief stint at an SEO firm—which made clear her need to work in a more creative environment!

Feeling led to work independently in 2015, she launched T-Fed Marketing with the intention of assisting smaller businesses and not-for-profit organizations with their marketing efforts. T-Fed Marketing has clients in engineered compounds, manufacturing, service industries, business coaching/speaking/training, and counseling, some of whom she has worked with since 1993.

She is a proud member of the 26th Class of Leadership Stark County and still keeps in contact with a tight group of friends from her class. She most recently served as a Lake Chamber board member from 2015 through 2021, and previously served a 5-year term, including the offices of Secretary and Chairman. She currently chairs the Marketing and Content Development Committee, and assists with marketing and tourism projects, as well as events.

A native of Randolph and graduate of Waterloo High School, Teresa has been married to Ron since 2000. They reside in Plain Township, just across the Lake Township line, where they are often working on or planning their next DIY project, which means she gets a bright idea and Ron does most of the hard work! They are members of The Chapel in Green and actively serve in Kids Ministry there.

Congratulations Ross!🤩

We are so pleased to announce that Ross Miller will receive the Community Service Award in recognition of his generous and faithful service to the Lake Township community, going above and beyond his ministry position as Senior Pastor at Evermore Community Church

Ross was raised near Wooster, Ohio, and attended Kenyon College intending to become a doctor, but God had other plans. Sensing a call to pastoral ministry, Ross attended Associated Mennonite Biblical Seminary in Elkhart, Indiana where he then went on to earn his MDiv degree.

Ross enjoys sports, which have played a big role in his life over the years. Besides wrestling, he participated in football and track at the collegiate level.

He has been married to Jude Conrad for 38 years. Their three grown children are married and living in the Northeast Ohio area. Ross and Jude enjoy spending time with their six grandchildren.

Ross has pastored at Zion Mennonite in Archbold, Walnut Creek Mennonite in Walnut Creek, Ohio, and has now been at Evermore Community Church in Hartville, Ohio for the past 13 years.

He enjoys hunting, fishing, hiking, being with family, and in past years long-distance running. He has been a part of the Chamber for many years and is blessed by the “family atmosphere” found there.

Serving and volunteering with many area nonprofits like FISH, LOC, and Hartville Thrift Shoppe is a priority for Ross. He loves God and seeks to live a life that follows Christ’s example. Often quoting the phrase “love God, love people”, his desire is that God would receive all the glory and honor.

Join us in congratulating this well-deserving servant leader!

Congratulations Kelsey!🤩

It is our great pleasure to announce that Kelsey Wood has been chosen to receive the 2021 Community Impact Award in recognition of the outstanding work that Lake Township FISH accomplished for the betterment of the Lake Township community, which includes resourceful and creative solutions she employed during the past two years. These efforts executed through volunteers went a long way to assure that F.I.S.H. was able to continue to assist local families with food insecurities and others facing eviction or utility shut-offs.

Lake Township FISH is an assistance organization that has been serving Lake Township and the surrounding area since 1972. It began as a small cupboard in a church and has grown now to serve food to an average of 130 families each month. Lake Township FISH is supported by area churches, schools, businesses, and organizations. FISH operates a food pantry in Hartville, as well as offers emergency financial assistance to Lake Township residents facing utility shutoffs or evictions. Lake Township FISH is a proud partner of the Akron-Canton Regional Foodbank, Stark County Hunger Task Force, and more recently the Stark County Diaper Bank. In the past year, FISH has held 2,545 service events where they provided groceries to 325 households, including 1,030 individuals.

Director of FISH since 2019, Kelsey Wood is a Hartville native but has lived and served in the other communities of Richmond, Kentucky, and Goshen, Indiana. After graduating from Lake High School, Kelsey attended Malone University where she studied Business and Photography.

She has been married to Joe Wood for 10 years and is a mother of three children, ages seven, six, and four. Alongside her husband and children, she raises English Bulldogs. Kelsey's other hobbies include photography, music, and traveling with her family. She worships at Evermore Community Church where she enjoys serving with the Children's Ministry and Bible Memory Programs.

The chamber invites all who are interested to attend this special evening. Tickets may be purchased at www.LakeChamber.com/LCA. The single ticket price is $35.00 and a table of eight is $250.00.
