We arrived in Vancouver yesterday. We are in a hotel right across the street from the port, and this is the view from our room.

Right now it is 71 degrees and gorgeous!

Four years ago today, Bill and I were in Pompeii. As a Latin teacher, I felt so connected with our visit. Seeing the things that I teach kids!

However, these statues remind me of the singing statues at the end of the Haunted Mansion ride!

Four years ago today, we were at the Capitoline Museum in Rome. This is the museum in Rome for antiquities. The Capitoline She-Wolf is one of the most famous statues of this time period. Here she is with the twins, Romulus and Remus.

They have these little booths on the Dream and the Fantasy. You have to be a small group to get one of these. On this particular occasion five years ago, it was just three of us adults. I felt spoiled!

So many reasons to use a travel agent!
-we make those calls that can sometimes go on for more than an hour.
-we helped you get refunds during Covid travel when you booked with us.
-we helped you get rebooked when there was a storm.

Big box stores give great incentives--I've seen them! But, when trouble arrives the day before your vacation, you will not get any customer service or help.

Travel agents are small, local businesses too, so contact your travel agent to book that next vacation!

Two great offers were released by Disney today!

One is for March 1st-July 10th, so it covers SPRING BREAK time through the first month of summer travel. This is a discount on your room.

Offer two is from June 25th-September 14th. With this offer, you need a resort room and tickets for four nights. For booking this, you can get a card worth up to $750 to use towards meals while you are at Disney.

Also, I am back from Disney Cruise #17. I can't wait to do Alaska with Bill again this summer, but Royal has a new ship out in March of 2024 out of Port Canaveral, and I am really thinking about giving it a try. Who has been on other cruise lines? What do you like most about them?

While looking for a dinner reservation for tonight, I saw a California Grill reservation and snapped it up. This restaurant is at the top of the Contemporary Resort and has been here 50 years as well! In fact, they used to have a dance floor!

Right now, they’re not doing their normal menu but a priced fixed three course dinner. All our favorites for one price—not bad!

Via Napoli in Italy in the World Showcase is ALWAYS a good idea. They have three pizza ovens named after volcanoes in Italy!

We started off our vacation very early this morning, but we have finally arrived!

The rooms at the Contemporary were recently updated, and they’re now themed after the Incredibles! We love the Incredibles but especially the second one. We’re going to go eat and then head to the Magic Kingdom.
