I caught the fishing bug at a very young age as most people in this business do.
I started out in the freshwater lakes and rivers of Pennsylvania. As soon as I turned 16, I was off to fishing in bass tournaments. I finished my way through college and competed on the top tier of the professional Fishing League Worldwide tour (FLW). When I wasn’t casting for cash in a bass boat, I started to mate on off-shore charter boats and the salt water bug got me! Everyone knows Hatteras is where you need to be if you’re going to make it as a charter boat fisherman and that’s where I moved. Over the last twenty years, I’ve spent 150-200 days a year in the Atlantic ocean. As traveling to work as a captain or deck hand, in the winter time to places like Costa Rica. Madeira Portugal, the Canary Islands, and Palm Beach, FL. I’ve since graduated from the rough blue water to the calm shallow backwaters of the Pamlico Sound. With my extensive knowledge of the Pamlico Sound, I would love to show you a great time! From traditional rod and reel fishing, bow fishing, and nighttime flounder gigging.
I focus on making sure my customers have an exceptional time here. This could be from a bunch of friends that went to college together, to a young couple, or even a family with children. I have three children which has provided me with the ability to help young minds enjoy their experience fishing here and to keep them busy with action! They don’t want to be riding around all day looking for Cobia, they just wanna catch fish!! And that is what we will do.
I currently hold a USCG Master’s License. This is the highest level license that can be acquired.
