We’ve owned the Orange Blossom for 15 years now and occasionally we get a compliment that helps lift the spirits of our hard-working staff. Today from Lynne:

Your bakery is amazing! We had breakfast sandwiches everyday at your place. The apple uglies, chocolate donuts, cherry turnovers, chocolate donut holes and the blueberry mini pies were all delicious! I'm attaching you a picture that I took this morning. This girl was always happy and singing! What an amazing to see someone having fun while working. The other people there were also very nice! They were super busy! We loved the Buxton sandwich!

Thank You Lynne and all our awesome clients and staff who are helping us get through these tough staffing COVID times with our fresh-made Uglies, cinnamon rolls, donuts and everything else!!! 👍🙏❤️

"Stuck Light of Hatteras". For the past three nights, the light of Hatteras Lighthouse has been illuminated but not moving. Under normal conditions the light is on all the time and rotates, producing a "flash" every 7.5 seconds. I captured this unique image last night just before the moon rose above the horizon.

To be perfectly honest I didn't want to go shoot photos of the moon last night. I had already walked to the point and back to shoot in the afternoon and had gotten caught in a gnarly storm. But, Kate got me off of my butt to go snap some photos. Glad my wife knows when to kick me in the butt.
