Like most busy Long Islanders, Ztakeout's founder, Frank Imburgio, found that his busy professional and personal life meant that he often ordered takeout for the family dinner a couple of nights a week. He found the process of calling in the same food orders to the same restaurants every week time consuming and frustrating. Wouldn't it be great if there was one website that stored his favorite neighborhood restaurants and most frequently ordered items to make ordering easier? Luckily, Frank was able to put his 30 years of experience in the software development field to work on making his idea a reality. Together with graphic designer Lynellen Nielsen (also a busy working parent) they developed Ztakeout.
