Earlier this year, I upgraded my home WiFi system to one of the new 'mesh network' platforms. Mesh WiFi has been around for years, but it was typically deployed in commercial and enterprise environments, and it was very expensive.

Thankfully, the consumer-targeted versions of these systems are now very affordable. Moreover, the performance from these mesh systems is excellent. My home is blanketed with a strong, reliable, and fast WiFi signal - with no more "dark" areas. There are over two dozen WiFi-connected devices in my home, all remain connected with no interference or downtime. A condition my previous, traditional WiFi system struggled to maintain.
