Delicious appetizer board at . Our first visit, and it was great food, great atmosphere, and the variety of ciders made this non-beer drinker very very happy and my beer drinking husband had plenty of choices too!! On this board: venison, elk and bison!! Wow!!

A hike to Brasstown Bald today in the fog!! Could not see an inch in front of you at the top but the hike up and back was glorious! Quite, peaceful and simply lovely. Don't let the weather stop you from enjoying this hike

Great time with Geoff last weekend… first time visitor to lake chatuge and I think he liked it!!! ❤️❤️❤️ boating up and having frozen margaritas lakeside on a Friday afternoon at marina station was a huge hit!!!

A stunning sunrise this weekend… almost mythical with the cloud cover, steam off the lake and the color peeking through… we enjoyed a truly magical view as we sipped our morning coffee wrapped in a blanket against the chill… loving the morning and the cooler temps!!!! I don’t think there is a more beautiful place that simply fills my soul.

The Chatuge Dam Trail is managed by TVA in partnership with Clay County Park. It is a there and back trail (1.5 miles each way) and is a great walk for dogs, rollerbladers, small children, strollers, bike riders, walkers, joggers … yup… everyone.

Just a good burger. That's it. A super yummy burger. Sometimes this is all you need for a good day. LIve music, fantastic deck, big boat dock right on lake chatuge. Yup... pretty great place.

Just one of my favorite views on the way from Atlanta to Lake Chatuge... my happy place. We had to pull over on the side of the road to take a photo of the mountains, the beautiful sky, the creek and the cows. Yup... it just makes me happy and I wanted to share it. That's all.
